Yoga

Yoga is the moment by moment practise of gently unifying body and mind. This can be explored through asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation (both in stillness and in movement) on the mat and then, hopefully, taking this cultivated inner stillness into the rest of your life. My approach is one of fostering yoga as somatic self-enquiry, building a trusting relationship with the body based on deep listening, open awareness and slow gentle movements. I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher graduating in 2014 through Yoga Alliance (200hr) accreditation. I have recently completed studying with Donna Farhi on her exceptional “The Art of Teaching’ Course and I bring my extensive experience of embodied anatomy and massage bodywork, as well as being a seasoned dancer of 5Rhythms, to my yoga practise and teaching.  

On-line Weekly Classes

I am offering a small, warm and friendly Slow Flow yoga class online via Zoom on Monday evenings between 6.30 - 8pm. All levels and abilities welcome. Please email me to find out more and I can send you a Zoom link to access the classes.

On-line Yoga Nidra Classes

I offer 60 minutes Yoga Nidra sessions from the comfort of your own home. Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a deep state of relaxation which brings a profound sense of rejuvenation and integration to the body and mind. Its gentle approach involves a systematic guided, full body meditation encouraging you to transition into deep states of rest by bringing awareness to the breath, the senses and sensations in the body. The practise of Yoga Nidra cultivates a safe inner space to let go of muscular, emotional and mental tension restoring natural balance to the body and peace to the mind. One to One Yoga Classes

I offer one to one bespoke 60 minute and 90 minute yoga sessions, tailored to your body's needs and unique energy levels.  We will work at your own pace and with my full presence. My classes are deeply restorative whereby I invite you to return to your breath and engage with your fascinating body with attention, intention and open curiosity. As you allow your body to unfold you can discover the intrinsic pathways where energy flows easily and effortlessly. With your permission I can enhance the space we create together with essential oils to calm the mind, ground the body and uplift the spirit. All one to one yoga sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. 

One to one yoga sessions can be beautifully complimented with a 60 minute Aromatherapy Massage allowing you to soften and open followed by an opportunity to receive relaxing touch more deeply.
